You may choose underbalanced drilling (as opposed to conventional drilling), in order to reduce formation damage, increase your rate of penetration and the like. In order to accommodate your needs, we’ve expanded our capabilities to include pressure for underbalanced drilling.
First things first
When you’re drilling using gases, mud pulse technology simply won’t work. Underbalanced drilling requires the use of an EM tool. Mostar’s EM MWD system incorporates proven technology with improved components. It’s the only one of its kind that’s both retrievable and reseatable. Pressure measures
Underbalanced drilling requires a measure of annular pressure in addition to internal pipe pressure. Differential pressure between the two is indicative of drilling activity. We’ve got the goods that will enable you to measure both. Ask us about it.
