You Are Here: Directional Drilling Services / Inspection

There’s a lot at risk out in the field. So we feel it’s important to take a real good look at what’s being put down hole. “That’s why we don’t rely on third party inspection or third party definitions of good maintenance. If it’s Mostar’s equipment going down hole, it had better be inspected and maintained according to Mostar’s standards.” (JP)

ASNT Certified

Mostar staff members are ASNT (American Society for Nondestructive Testing) certified. We carry out a complete inspection of all directional equipment - from mud motor parts, subs and threads, to the actual materials that make up the equipment. Proper inspection is crucial to ensuring reliability in the field for our customers.

Some call it being “high maintenance”

Admittedly, we’re a little fussy when it comes to our directional equipment. Having inspection capabilities in-house not only saves time, it also improves the level of quality control in what we provide for our clients. By inspecting and servicing our motors in-house, we have complete visibility and control over what we send out to the field.

All motors should be treated equally

It’s not fair to pay more attention to some motors than others. To us, it doesn’t matter if a motor has been down hole for five minutes or 150 hours. Each time they return from the field they’re pulled apart, fully inspected and serviced. We believe they all deserve it.

Motors deserve the royal treatment. After all, they’re tough performers. We take care of them all in-house.
